Westwerk Havelhaus presents recent sculptures by Berlin artist Martin Assig: small-size, colorful objects shaped like churches and houses, made of wood, paper, papier mâché, and wire, and painted in the technique of encaustic. A mix of artistic sophistication and childlike naivety, these toy bricks radiate a particular piousness and sense of meditation.
