For his legendary Coyote installation in New York in 1974, Beuys transformed a gallery into a cage and spent three days and nights in it with a wild coyote. This book, first published in 1976, is the hitherto only attempt to document a Beuys action in a book. Now available in a reprint and, for the first time, in an English edition.
