Photographs
In his new book, Thomas Struth raises his Museum Photograph project to the next power. Installing his Prado pictures next to the respective paintings in the Madrid museum, he confronts them with the actual site of action and documents this confrontation in “museum photographs of museum photographs in the museum.” A sophisticated play with originals, mirrors and perception.
